Resources to end your (work) week

Happy Resources Friday!!

This week we have some excellent resources from some of my favorite sites.  A podcast from Pastor’s Discussion Podcast, the recent report from Ligonier about the “state of theology” among Evangelicals, and Tim Challies.

From Pastor’s Discussion Podcast – Episode 42 – Biblical Theology

“Have you found yourself struggling to see how stories and themes in the Bible are connected? Do you want a richer experience in reading the Bible? If so, this episode will hopefully help you out. We discuss what Biblical Theology is, why it’s important, how it has helped us, and we recommend some resources for you to help. “

From Ligonier – The State of Theology

“What do Americans think about God, Jesus Christ, sin, and eternity? Ligonier Ministries’ State of Theology survey helps uncover the answers. Every two years, we take the theological temperature of the United States to help Christians better understand today’s culture and equip the church with better insights for discipleship. Read some of our key findings from 2018 below and explore the data for yourself.”

From Tim Challies – The Missing Elements of Modern Worship

“I am convinced that most of these elements have gone missing for pragmatic reasons—they do not accomplish something the church leaders wish to accomplish in their services. Instead of searching God’s Word to determine what elements should or must be present in a worship service, leaders are judging elements by whether or not they work (according to their own standard of what works).”

Thank you for stopping by.  Make sure you watch the live show every Friday night at 730pm EST on Facebook live or the live link on this site.  Also subscribe to our YouTube Channel
