Resources to end your (work) week

Happy Friday!

Here are some of my favorite resources from this past week.

From For The Church – Rejoice Always by H.B. Charles, Jr.

H.B. Charles, Jr. writes: “It is the will of God to rejoice always. But obedience to this command is not accomplished by an act of the will. It is only accomplished by faith in Christ. The believer’s unceasing rejoicing is the will of God for us “in Christ Jesus.”

From Ligonier – $5 Friday

“Join us each Friday as we offer trustworthy resources on sale for $5. Our weekly sale runs through 12:01 a.m. — 11:59 p.m. Friday ET.”

From Grace to You – The Foolish Cross

John MacArthur writes: “From a human perspective, believing that the horrific, humiliating death of a Jewish carpenter more than two thousand years ago has any impact on modern life—let alone offers any sort of substitutionary atonement for our sins—sounds like madness. But as Peter boldly exclaimed to the priests and leaders of Israel, “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).”
